Adult Program Swap - Library Programs for People with Dementia Online
This program will focus on patrons with dementia, their caregivers, and families. Library folks from across the state will share program ideas to create dementia-friendly programs and spaces, and strategies to support patrons and caregivers.
If your library does programming that fits this description, and you're willing to share your expertise and contact information during a 3-5 minute presentation with slides, please fill out our volunteer form by Thursday, December 11. We'll respond within a week to all submissions.
The Adult Program Swap is a virtual meet-up for Adult Programming Library staff to network and share ideas. We start with a short overview of the topic, then hear from a series of presenters who have volunteered to share briefly what works at their libraries. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for Q&A.
To foster open dialogue and encourage participation, we don't record the Adult Program Swap. We hope to see you there!
The Adult Program Swap is a collaboration between the Upper Hudson, Southern Adirondack, Mid-York, Finger Lakes, North Country, and Clinton Essex Franklin library systems and the New York State Library.

This public program is made possible by federal Library Service and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, which enable the New York State Library to champion lifelong learning.
