Fostering Partnerships: School and Public Libraries Unite for Summer Reading Adventures Online

Join your colleagues for an enriching hour as we explore collaborative efforts between school and public libraries in creating engaging Summer Reading programs empowering readers. Led by experienced school librarians from the Hamilton Fulton Montgomery/HFM BOCES, this session will offer valuable insights from the school librarian's perspective on fostering partnerships with public libraries.

We will explore the optimal timing for collaborative initiatives, share practical resources for programming, and discuss strategies for integrating community culture into the 2024 Summer Reading theme for "Adventure Begins at Your Library."

Attendees will have ample opportunity for questions, answers, and lively discussion.

This webinar will be recorded. For more information, please contact Sharon Phillips, Youth Services Program Manager.

This webinar is supported in large part by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds that were awarded to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
