SUMMARY:Domestic Violence 101
DESCRIPTION:Understanding domestic violence and its various tactics of 
 abuse is essential for everyone\, regardless of your profession or 
 relationship status. This interactive training provides participants with 
 foundational knowledge to recognize and respond to domestic violence\, 
 including emotional\, financial\, and technology-assisted abuse\, in a 
 survivor-centered\, trauma-informed\, and culturally responsive manner. By 
 attending\, participants will gain practical skills to support survivors 
 and connect them with resources\, ultimately contributing to the prevention 
 and intervention efforts against domestic violence. \n\nAt the end of this 
 training participants will be able to: \n\n\n	Identify different tactics of 
 domestic violence. \n	Effectively support survivors of domestic violence 
 and assist them in accessing resources for safety and healing. 
 \n	Contribute to prevention and intervention efforts against domestic 
 violence in their respective roles and communities. \n\n\nThis program is 
 facilitated by the Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence\, and is 
 one of three trainings being offered. Please consider registering for the

 Violence\n	Gender-Based Violence 101\n\n\nThis public program is offered by
