Digital Equity Roundtable Conversations Online

The New York State Library will be convening a series of roundtable discussions on Digital Equity in 2021 and 2022. These roundtable conversations are intended to be an opportunity for digital equity practitioners across New York to connect and communicate with one another. Everyone is welcome to attend and listen.

The New York State Library allocated federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds through the LSTA Grants to States Program to statewide regional library councils, who partnered with public library systems to spearhead digital inclusion initiatives. The projects born from these initiatives serve three essential purposes: they create digital inclusion services for underserved populations, they work to establish deep community connections and build digital equity ecosystems, and they aim to position libraries as digital equity anchor organizations within their respective communities. Join us to hear about the creative and innovative services made possible through ARPA funding.
